Dr. Summer Watson is the Founder of KORE Women, LLC. KORE Women is a unique home for the hearts and souls of women, where they can Kinetically connect, Organically learn from one another, Reshape lives through diverse interaction, and Energize one another to promote change. KORE Women strives to support women through shared wisdom, kindness, mentorship, and guidance as well as the use of films and podcasts to share their journeys, stories, and strategies to support success. Based on the supportive women in her life who have inspired her, Summer developed KORE Women to create a business that she loves and for which she could apply her wisdom, education, and experience to support women in developing and achieving their personal and professional goals through strategic empowerment coaching.
As a military spouse for 20-plus years, she has put much of her energy into creating programs for military families and advocating for their needs. She is currently the Senior Executive Director of the Warrior Research Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports veterans through community outreach, provides education through films, and provides internship opportunities for university students.
She has published a phenomenological study, “Effects of the War in Iraq on Military Marriages,” in which she studied six factors that affect military marriages separated by war. She also recently published her new book, "F*ck Yeah! Get Real with Strong Language." This book is a strategic approach to understanding your personal beliefs and values.
Summer’s passion is strategic empowerment coaching and, more specifically, empowering and connecting women to embrace their renewed passion for life. KORE Women is a place where women can find strength, courage, inspiration, and empowerment strategies that they can apply to their lives.
